Community Action Network

Latrobe - Casey CAN is a group of passionate people who believe in building stronger communities.

Labor members and non-Labor members often work together to improve the lives of others in their local community, and the broader Australian community. Our members regularly get together with non-members to advocated for the rights of others, to discuss current issues, and to get involved in community projects. If you’re passionate about your community, you don’t have to be a member to get involved.

Social justice, fairness and tolerance are our tenets and community engagement is our means of promoting those values. We welcome all community members whether they be party folk, volunteers or friends.

Casey CAN runs social events, forums and various other platforms which allow our people to meaningfully express their views.

Casey CAN also issues a regular events calendar. This is emailed to our group every month during campaign periods and every second month outside campaign periods.
